A Fort Collins man faces an attempted-murder charge after he shot into another driver’s vehicle Friday during a road-rage incident in north Loveland, police say.

Brice Carey, 23, was booked into the Larimer County jail on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder, felony menacing, attempting to commit a Class 3 felony and tampering with physical evidence.

Loveland police said no injuries were reported after the shooting. They said Carey fled north toward Fort Collins, and he was arrested Friday at his home after he was identified with the help of the sheriff’s office.

Carey’s bail had yet to be set as of Saturday afternoon. Anyone with information about the incident should call Loveland police at 970-962-2032 or Larimer County Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868.
