At least 718 flights were canceled or delayed Tuesday at Denver International Airport as snow fell across Colorado.
National Weather Service meteorologists said 1 1/2 inches of snow stacked up at DIA and another 2 to 5 inches was expected by 11 p.m.
As of 4:40 p.m., 699 flights at DIA had been delayed and 19 were canceled, according to data from flight tracking software .
United Airlines had the most delayed flights with 227 and Southwest had 208. SkyWest, the airline that operates United Express, delayed 203 flights, FlightAware data shows.
United had eight flights canceled, followed by Southwest with seven. SkyWest and American Airlines both canceled two.
AirCanada, Delta, British Airways, Frontier, Jazz, Key Lime Air and Air France all delayed flights at DIA on Tuesday.
