A deputy was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of felony menacing, harassment, stalking and criminal mischief related to domestic violence, according to agency officials and jail records.
Cristian DeAnda, 25, was arrested by the Firestone Police Department at 12:10 a.m., Weld County Jail records show.
DeAnda became a deputy sheriff in 2023 and worked at the Downtown Detention Center, the sheriff’s office said. He was placed on investigatory leave after his arrest.
DeAnda’s next court date was not available Thursday night.
