Forecasters issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Denver, Jefferson, Adams, Arapahoe, Adams, Broomfield, Boulder, Gilpin, Park and Clear Creek counties until 3:15 p.m.
Multiple weather stations reported 59 mph gusts along Interstate 70 north of Denver, agency officials said. People should seek shelter in a well-built structure and stay away from windows.
