Man arrested in hit-and-run that killed Denver bicyclist

The crash happened near West 38th Avenue and Tejon Street, police said

A 28-year-old man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of a fatal Monday night hit-and-run that left one bicyclist dead on the edge of Denver’s Sunnyside neighborhood, police said.

Jonathan Jarabek was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident involving, the Denver Police Department said Tuesday morning.

Denver police near West 38th Avenue and Tejon Street on social media at 8:56 p.m. Monday.

The bicyclist died on scene, police said.

Jarabek is being held without bond in the Downtown Detention Center, according to jail records.
