Four people were wounded in a string of stabbings and one shooting late Friday and early Saturday, according to Denver police.
Officers responded to three stabbings and one shooting in the city’s Hampden, Capitol Hill, Green Valley Ranch and West Colfax neighborhoods, the agency said in social media posts.
- One man was wounded in a in the 9800 block of East Iliff Avenue, police said at 9:56 p.m. Friday. Further information about his wounds was not available, and one person was arrested.
- One man was wounded in a stabbing in the 1400 block of North Pennsylvania Street, Denver police said at 12:07 a.m. Saturday. The extent of his wounds was unknown, and officers were working to identify a suspect.
- One person was wounded in a in the 18400 block of Elmendorf Drive, the agency said at 3:51 a.m. Police were working to identify a suspect.
- One person was wounded in a stabbing in the 1300 block of North Lowell Boulevard, police said at 3:55 a.m. Two people were detained.
Denver police could not immediately be reached for comment.
