Denver pedestrian hit by car on I-25 exit ramp

The crash happened early Saturday morning in Denver’s Hampden neighborhood, police said

Denver police are searching for a hit-and-run driver after a pedestrian was injured Saturday morning in a crash on an Interstate 25 exit ramp in the city’s Hampden neighborhood, police said.

Officers responded to the hit-and-run on the southbound I-25 exit ramp to East Hampden Avenue at about 5:40 a.m. Saturday, .

The suspect left the scene of the crash without stopping, helping the injured pedestrian or calling the police, according to the agency.

No description of the suspect vehicle was available Tuesday.
