One person died after a on Thursday, police officials said.
Denver Police Department officers responded to the shooting in the 10100 block of East Virginia Avenue and found one victim, the agency said just before 1 p.m.
Paramedics took Elijah Hernandez, 19, to the hospital, where he died, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide, agency officials said.
