Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed in the west metro for about an hour Saturday afternoon after a crash between a car and motorcycle, the said.
Wheat Ridge police reported the crash near Youngfield Street at 2:43 p.m. and said the motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The highway reopened as of 3:33 p.m.
The crash is under investigation, police officials said.
