Two people are dead after a go-kart and a car collided late Saturday night in southwest Denver, police said.
The fatal crash happened just after 11:20 p.m. Saturday near West Evans Avenue and South Federal Boulevard, on the edge of Denver’s Harvey Park and College View , police said.
One person died Saturday at the scene of the crash, and the second later died at the hospital, according to a from the Denver Police Department. The two victims were both in the go-kart, an unidentified spokesperson for the police department said in an email to The Denver Post.
Both people killed in the crash will be identified by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
No one had been arrested or cited in the crash as of Monday afternoon, the spokesperson said. At that time, information about the cause of the crash and which driver was at fault was not available.
