One person died and another was injured after a late-night crash between a car and a go-kart in southwest Denver Saturday night, according to the Denver Police Department.
The crash, at Evans Avenue and South Federal Boulevard near the Harvey Park neighborhood, happened at about 11 p.m. Saturday night.
Police officials declined to provide additional details on the crash, including whether it was someone in the go-kart or the car who was killed. Another person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, according to a DPD spokesperson.
about the incident initially said that the crash was between a motorist and a motorcylist, but when contacted Sunday morning, a spokesperson said the other vehicle was actually a go-kart.
The crash is still under investigation, but police haven’t arrested or cited anyone involved.
