A man was seriously injured Wednesday when he fell 90 feet from the Vertigo rappels in Eldorado Canyon State Park in Boulder County.

The man’s climbing partner was stuck without a rope in the area, and responders also rescued them, the release says.
Crews worked to rescue the duo for three hours across steep, unstable terrain, the release says.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, State Park personnel, Mountain View Fire Rescue and the Rocky Mountain Rescue Group responded to the rescue call.
