An inmate walked away from a minimum-security prison near Rifle late Thursday.
Jeremie Mullinix, 29, was discovered missing from the Rifle Correctional Center around 8:30 p.m., Colorado Department of Corrections spokeswoman Alison Morgan said.
Mullinix was described as a 5-foot-9 white male with blond hair and blue eyes, weighing about 200 pounds.
He was serving a 15-year term for robbery and should be considered dangerous, Morgan said.
Prison officials offered a $2,500 reward for information leading to his capture.
