Noah Aptekar graduated from Colorado Academy in the spring as the top student in his class, with a weighted 4.4 grade-point average.

Noah is a National Merit Scholarship finalist and an Advanced Placement Scholar with Distinction, having taken AP classes in history, science, math, English and Spanish. Noah has traveled to Mexico and Costa Rica for language immersion programs, to work at orphanages and to help on a small village sanitation project.

He was a three-year varsity soccer player and a team captain, having earned all-conference honors as he led his team to the quarterfinals in the 2004 and 2005 seasons. He was the lacrosse team captain and earned the most valuable player team award three times.

His senior year, he was awarded all-state honors as first-team lacrosse goalie. He has been given the Athlete of the Year Award for high school students from the Denver Athletic Club.

Noah had the starring role as Scrooge in “A Christmas Carol” and had leading roles in plays by Jean Paul Sartre and Brendan Behan and in school productions of Broadway musicals.

Noah will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall, where he plans to play lacrosse, act in theater and pursue a broad academic career with a possible emphasis in design and architecture.
