Imagine attending an Avalanche game and leaving with a free house.

It will happen to a lucky fan this season.

The Avs on Thursday unveiled a season-long promotional campaign in which 10 prizes will be awarded during select home games.

“I’m the minister of fun and game today,” said Paul Andrews, executive vice president at Kroenke Sports Enterprises. “This is a fun way to thank our fans during this special season.”

First prize, to be given at a game to be determined, is a new home in Commerce City, in a master-planned community by Amber Homes.

Other prizes include a custom-made Avalanche Harley Davidson, an Avalanche “assistant coach for the day” package, 10 roundtrip flights on Frontier Airlines, a trip for two on the Avs’ team charter, a one-week ski vacation in Vail and an Avs luxury suite and dinner for 10 at Elway’s steakhouse.

Any person with a ticket stub to an Avalanche game will be automatically entered in drawings for the prizes. Nonticket buyers can enter drawings on the Avalanche website.

The first giveaway, the 65-inch HDTV, will take place at the Nov. 5 game against Dallas.

Avalanche training camp begins Tuesday, with players reporting for physicals on Monday at the Pepsi Center.
