High school sports: Basketball (guard), volleyball (outside hitter) and track and field (400 meters, sprint relays and high jump).

Grade-point average: 4.0. Class: Junior.

My favorite subjects are: Physics and mathematics. I find them fun.

My favorite athlete is: Tamika Catchings or Jackie Stiles (WNBA).

My favorite team is: Indiana Fever or Nuggets. I like their players.

What I listen to: Anything depending when it is and where I’m at.

The best things on my training table are: Salad and my parents’ rotisserie chicken.

Pregame ritual: Team dinners, I get there early to listen to music and always do everything the same way on game day.

Time management tip: I try to spend time wisely and not procrastinate.

Planned career: Doctor; considering Wyoming, Nebraska or Northern Colorado.

My family: Parents Matt and Peni; brothers Matt and Kyle.

I would love to visit: Italy or somewhere else in Europe.

What I like most about high school sports: I love being with my team, making a lot of friends, the competition and basketball coaches.

What I like least about high school sports: There’s not enough games.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
