A search for new restaurant space for a client led Robb Trowbridge to the second floor of a building in the heart of Cherry Creek that he has since converted into a condominium.
“I didn’t think it looked like a restaurant, I thought it looked like a residence,” said Trowbridge, a commercial real estate broker. “The restaurant said they wouldn’t do the second floor.”
The space at 200 Clayton St. is former home to the American Sheep Industry Association. It’s just 15 steps to North, the hot new restaurant in Cherry Creek North’s Clayton Lane shopping district. And it’s 45 steps to the Cherry Cricket, a popular hamburger joint. Trowbridge is asking $2.5 million for the three-bedroom 4 1/2-bath condo, which includes a two-car garage. Phyllis Sinclair, an agent with the Kentwood Co., is marketing the property.
