High school sport: Swimming (sprints, 200 individual medley and relays).

Class: Senior.

My favorite subject: Business law. It’s interesting and fun to learn about the law, the government and its boundaries.

My favorite athlete: No favorite.

My favorite team: Arizona swimming team. That’s where I’m going.

What I listen to: I’m very eclectic. I listen to almost everything.

The best thing on my training table: Lots of pasta.

Premeet ritual: I just go race. Usually, I have a stretching routine I’m into.

Time management tip: You have to stay focused at night. Even though I’m tired when I get home, you have to keep your focus and get your work done.

Planned career: Undecided, signed to swim at Arizona.

My family: Parents John Svendsen and LeAnne Frazier; brothers Kirk and Mitch; three stepbrothers A.J., Matt and Adam; stepsister Anna.

I would love to visit: South America.

What I like most about high school sports: The team aspect and how much fun it is. Everybody’s out there to have fun and accomplish what they want to.

What I like least about high school sports: It’s hard to deal with how short the season is.

The Denver Post recognizes a female and male student-athlete of the week. At the end of the school year, 10 finalists will be chosen. Ultimately, The Post and The Denver Athletic Club will select one boy and one girl as student-athletes of the year, and a substantial donation will be made to a local charity in their names.
