Lynn Pruisner, a senior at Fairview High School in Boulder, is an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate with a weighted 4.87 grade-point average. She ranks fourth in a class of more than 500.

Lynn lettered in volleyball and track and field, and has made a return to sports after an injury to her knee.

She is a member of the National Honor Society and volunteers at Nevin Platt Middle School and Heatherwood Elementary School. During the summers, she also volunteers at Boulder Community Hospital.

In her sophomore year, Lynn traveled to France and England with a group of students from Fairview High. Last summer, she spent a week in Juárez, Mexico, with her church youth group to build a home for an elderly couple.

Lynn will attend the University of Colorado to study chemical engineering and integrated physiology. With the International Baccalaureate Diploma and Advanced Placement tests she has taken, she will begin as a junior.

Lynn plans to attend medical school and join Doctors Without Borders.
