Furniture Room, a furniture retailer, has opened a second location in the south metro area. The new showroom, at 2550 E. County Line Road in Highlands Ranch, includes living-room, dining and other collections.
Summit, The Broadmoor’s newest restaurant, is one of 11 fine-dining restaurants in the Robb Report’s 2006 “Best of the Best” issue. An annual issue, the Robb Report lists some of the world’s most luxurious goods. Summit is known for its American Brasserie menu.

Shares of Boulder-based biotechnology firm Array Bio Pharma Inc. jumped 9.1 percent Wednesday, after Jefferies & Co. initiated coverage on the company with a “buy” recommendation. Array, which focuses on treatments for cancer and inflammatory diseases, closed up 72 cents at $8.63 a share, the highest close for the drug developer since late March.

Las Vegas-based Golden Gaming, which owns the Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk, is buying the Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Gambling Hall in Pahrump, Nev. Financial terms weren’t disclosed. The Pahrump Nugget was built in 2001 and features 70 guest rooms, 553 slot machines, 10 table games, a sports book, poker room, restaurants, bowling alleys and banquet space.
On Saturday, the newly renovated Inn at Auraria will host an open house to unveil new “suite” student housing, designed for students attending schools on the Auraria campus.
