KB Home broke ground today on its first upscale community in Colorado.
Canyon View, southeast of Highway 93 and Golden Gate Canyon Road in Golden, will offer 60 single-family homes, ranging from 2,307 to 3,789 square feet priced from just above $500,000.
The homes will feature multiple fireplaces and three-car garages. Many of the floor plans feature unique architectural features such as a dramatic spiral staircase, a spacious gourmet kitchen with a center island, comfortable den, formal dining room, private courtyard, butler’s pantry and a walkout basement.
Options for the homes include finished basements and backyard decks. All of the homes will have nine-foot-high vaulted ceilings on the first floor and will feature an open master suite.
