The Oklahoma State women’s soccer team snapped Colorado’s three-game winning streak with a 2-1 victory in Stillwater, Okla., on Sunday.
Colorado (6-2-1, 1-1 Big 12), ranked No. 11 nationally, fell behind 1-0 early in the second half when Oklahoma State’s Yolanda Odenyo converted a penalty kick.
The Buffaloes’ Alex Cousins tied the game at 1-1 less than three minutes later when she scored to the upper-right corner while OSU (8-1-1, 3-0) was setting up to defend.
But Odenyo scored the game-winner in the 67th minute from her head, off a set-piece crossing pass.
