A 26-year-old Denver man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child and Internet luring of a child, police said Tuesday.
The Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force began an investigation in August 2005 based on a chat room conversation between a man and an undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl, said Littleton Police Sgt. Sean Dugan.
The suspect, Todd D. Gregory, contacted undercover officers several times during the investigation and “engaged in sexually explicit chat messages while exposing himself via webcam,” Dugan said.
On Monday, Littleton and Denver police arrested Gregory in Denver without incident.
He was booked at the Arapahoe County Jail. His bail was set at $50,000.
