It looks like Denver will have to content itself with being the No. 1 city
for singles and up there for fitness and various other livability rankings.

The Mile High City ranks 16th out of 45 U.S. markets in terms of prospects
for commercial/multifamily investment and development, according to a study,
“Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2007,” jointly released by
PriceWaterhouseCoopers and the Washington D.C.-based Urban Land Institute.

Not exceptional, but hardly grim, either.

The 28th annual study is based on interviews with 404 real estate-related
professionals and was the topic of a luncheon hosted by the Young Leaders
Group of ULI s Colorado chapter (www.ulicolorado.org) Nov. 29 at the Hyatt
Convention Center Hotel.
