COMMERCE CITY – Commerce City police have identified the victim in an apparent homicide.
Natisha Gallegos, 30, was found Sunday at an apartment complex in the 10700 block of Belle Creek Boulevard, police said Monday in a news release.
Police said they were searching for the victim’s ex-husband, Albert Gallegos, who they suspect was involved in her death. Natisha Gallegos had prior restraining orders against her ex-husband, police said.
Albert Gallegos was last seen driving a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am with license plate 876-MYM.
Commerce City Police Detective Mike Saunders said investigators suspect Gallegos may not have left the area yet.
