As of noon Thursday, most major roads and highways were open as the most recent storm began its trek across Colorado.

Colorado Department of Transportation crews are continuing to clear and haul away snow in order to widen lanes and ramps along the I-25 interchanges at Colorado Boulevard, University, Evans and Broadway Avenues.

Crews have also begun treating metro area highways with liquid de-icer APEX, which is effective at colder temperatures.
CDOT had 75 plows, three tankers, four loaders and three motor graders deployed.
