Aurora police are seeking Jacob Medina, 23, for questioning about the death of Aurora convenience store clerk Jutte Gallegos Burton, fatally shot Dec. 10 as she was working the overnight shift.
Medina, who is considered armed and dangerous, is wanted on two outstanding felony warrants for parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender.
John Andrew Doubleday, 23, faces first-degree murder charges for shooting Burton, 62, in the back with a sawed-off shotgun. His alleged accomplice Amie Lewis, 22, is being held on charges of conspiracy to commit murder.
Jonathan A. Ortiz, 28, was arrested Thursday, also in connection with Burton’s murder. Police believe he was Doubleday’s driver on the night of the robbery that led to Burton’s death.
