Scott Eller Cortelyou, a longtime Colorado radio voice pleaded guilty Monday to two felony charges and will have to register as a sex offender.

As part of a plea agreement with prosecutors, Cortelyou is not expected to serve any time in prison.

Prosecutors said Cortelyou, 53, engaged in sexually graphic Internet conversations with a person he believed to be a 12-year-old girl, but who was really an undercover police investigator.

Cortelyou pleaded guilty to Internet luring and attempted Internet sexual exploitation of a child, both class 5 felonies, said Pam Russell, a spokeswoman with the Jefferson County district attorney’s office.

Cortelyou, of Conifer was host of “Business for Breakfast” on KRCN 1060-AM and several sister stations around the state.

An investigation of Cortel you began in August, and Fort Collins investigators worked with authorities from the Jefferson County DA’s office on the case. He was arrested at a radio station in Lakewood in January.

His sentencing is scheduled for July 24.
