FORT COLLINS, Colo.-
Colorado State wide receiver Dustin Osborn has signed a free-agent deal with the New York Jets.
Osborn of La Junta, was a two-year starter for the Rams and played on special teams. He was third on the team with 26 catches for 397 yards last year, averaging a team-best 15.3 yards per reception.
Two other CSU players attracted interest from NFL teams this year. The New England Patriots drafted offensive tackle Clint Oldenburg in the fifth round on Sunday. Offensive tackle Josh Day signed a free-agent deal with the Minnesota Vikings after the draft.
CSU coach Sonny Lubick has sent 53 players to the NFL as draft choices or free agents during his 15 years coaching the Rams.
