A body found in Bear Creek Lake Sunday has been identified as a 52-year-old Lakewood woman.
The body of Karen Louise Gallery had been found by some hikers, who spotted it near the shore. The body was so badly decomposed that the gender could not be determined.
Today, the Jefferson County Coroner identified it as Gallery, who who been reported missing by her family on May 18. No cause of death has been determined yet. An autopsy will be performed later this week.
