A man whose body was found in a ditch in Loveland Sunday drowned after he was stabbed twice in the abdomen, officials said today.
The body of Sander “Sandy” W. Hansen, 48, of Loveland, was found Sunday in a ditch just south of World Beverage, 3655 N. Garfield Ave., said Dianne Fairman, chief deputy coroner for the Larimer County Medical Examiner’s Office. Children playing in a vacant lot Sunday found the body.
The cause of the death was determined to be a homicide, Fairman said today.
