An emergency helicopter was called to the scene of an accident in which a car fell about 100 feet into a ravine in Lakewood this morning injuring the driver, officials say.
The driver was unable to make a turn at South Xenon Street and West Jewell Avenue and went off the road and down a ravine at about 8:40 a.m., according to a Lakewood police dispatcher.
The driver’s name and condition is not immediately known.
