Authorities are looking for the girlfriend of a man whose body was found by a real-estate agent showing a home two weeks ago in Jefferson County.
Colleen Barrett, 46, of Littleton has been missing since about July 18, said Jacki Kelley, a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
The body of Barrett’s boyfriend, 41-year-old Robert Alurac of Alaska, was found July 23 about 50 feet from a house for sale in the 8400 block of Scenic Drive, about 10 miles south of Morrison.
Barrett has blue eyes and brown hair. She is about 5-foot-2 and weighs about 130 pounds, Kelley said.
On Saturday night, a man wanted for questioning in Alurac’s death was shot dead by a Douglas County SWAT officer at a Parker hotel.
Authorities have not released the man’s name and would not comment on how investigators connected that man to Alurac.
