DENVER—Three prominent Colorado Republicans have been named to honorary leadership roles on presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s state finance committee.
Sen. Wayne Allard, Attorney General John Suthers and former Gov. Bill Owens were appointed honorary chairmen Wednesday.
It’s the second assignment Owens has accepted from Romney. In January, he was named to Romney’s presidential exploratory committee.
Romney is a former governor of Massachusetts. Last weekend he finished first in a Republican Party straw poll in Iowa.
