BERTHOUD, Colo.—A fire damaged a defense contractor’s facility in Berthoud although it was quickly put out.
Loveland Reporter-Herald said the fire was reported Friday night at BAE Systems Container Solutions in Berthoud. About 25 people were evacuated but there were no injuries.
BAE is one of the largest defense contractors in the country.
The Berthoud facility manufactures specialized containers for military, aerospace and medical products.
The company employs 88,000 and does $25 billion in business each year.
