It’s not a question of

if, but when. Or rather, how quickly.

Tickets for the headlining music set of Vail Snow Daze will most assuredly sell out, considering that both Grammy-winning hip-hop performers – Ludacris (above) and the Roots – could fill their own 3,500-seat venues.

But dropping them in the center of an early-season snow party like Vail Snow Daze, which features ski and snowboard events, dining, DJs and even a snowball-eating contest, guarantees a rapt audience. Tickets for the Dec. 8 concert at Vail’s Ford Park are on sale. ($40-$50,

12 Girls Band is a nondescript moniker for a popular act, consisting of a dozen Chinese women covering popular Western tunes with a maudlin, crowd-

pleasing bent and ancient instruments. Tickets for the group’s Nov. 5 Macky Auditorium show are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($39.50-$49.50, Ticketmaster)

Tyler Perry’s “What’s Done in the Dark” does not, unfortunately, feature its namesake actor/director as a cast member, but the production retains Perry’s flair for wringing humor and pathos from mundane situations (see 2005’s “Diary of a Mad Black Woman”), this time in a hospital setting. Tickets are on sale. ($46.50-$59.50, TicketHorse)

New Found Glory and Senses Fail complement each other with their Warped Tour-approved, pop-punk aesthetics, but fans of either know the bands offer more than a pithy critic’s handle. OK, maybe not that much more. Tickets for the groups’ Nov. 9 co-headlining set at the Ogden Theatre went on sale Wednesday. ($20, Ticketmaster)

Gogol Bordello sounds like an ill-advised band on paper, combining gypsy-punk, “Brecht-

ian cabaret,” humor and over-

the-top costumes in its theatrical performances. But the New York outfit, led by Ukrainian transplant Eugene Hütz, has won the love of increasing numbers of people with each tour. Tickets for its Oct. 29-30 stint at the Boulder Theater are on sale. ($20-$22, )

Tegan & Sara, a Canadian sister folk duo, won the hearts of the Lilith Fair crowd before touring with Neil Young to larger audiences and acclaim. Now the pair is courting mainstream love with a slicker, more straightforward indie-pop sound. Tickets for Tegan & Sara’s Nov. 3 Boulder Theater show with Northern State are on sale. ($20,
