Although the number of individuals engaging in resistance training exercise has increased somewhat over the years, many women still favor aerobic activity over lifting weights or using resistance bands.
While it is true that aerobic exercise helps to reduce body fat, it does little in comparison to strength training to ensure firmness as weight is lost.
Women who resistance- train on a regular basis burn just as many calories, if not more, and have significantly stronger, firmer and leaner physiques than they would if they spent countless hours exercising aerobically.
