KEYSTONE, Colo.—Arapahoe Basin says it will open for the season Wednesday, its earliest opening in its history.
The resorts says the Exhibition chairlift will open at 9 a.m. There is an 18-inch base on its intermediate High Noon run but there won’t be any beginner terrain open yet.
Arapahoe Basin traditionally competes with Loveland to be the first resort to open in Colorado each year. Last year Arapahoe Basin opened on Oct. 13.
