Getting your player ready...

Baseball games last at least three hours, maybe four. A fan is bound to get hungry by the seventh-inning stretch.

Sure, the club- and suite-level ticket holders get pampered with prime rib, seared tuna and homemade fudge, but even the folks in the upper decks have access to pretty good grub – they just need a little insider information on where to get it.

Here are some sure bets if you’re lucky enough to dine at Coors Field this weekend.

TRY A SLICE: The “gourmet” pizza is no Proto’s (our LoDo fave), but the sausage isn’t greasy and the pepperoni slices are huge at Roundin’ 3rd Gourmet Pizzeria, where a slice costs $5.50. The dough is a little spongy, but the crust edge is folded into triangles and crisps up with a little Parmesan cheese. Find it in section 137 along the third-base line.

BETTER THAN A HOT DOG: While we love the classic Rockie Dog, the buns can be dry, so upgrade to a jalapeño-cheddar buffalo bratwurst or a Blue Moon Belgian beer brat ($6.50) at the Sandlot Brewery and Smokehouse on the main concourse behind section 112. Top it with grilled peppers and onions and sweet-tangy sauerkraut.

THE VEGETARIAN: Available in the Hill Yard Deli in section 137 and on the club level above, this pressed sandwich ($7) should satisfy any non-meat-eater. Filled with grilled zucchini slices, yellow squash, red peppers and mushrooms, it’s not overflowing, but it’s big enough to fill you up.

CRAVING MEXICAN? Try the Blake Street Burrito ($7), sold in sections 109, 134 and 331. The beef tastes like barbecued brisket, and the chicken, which is better, is seasoned with chile powder, garlic, cilantro, achiote and lots of cumin. It comes in a flour tortilla rolled up with cilantro-lime rice, black or pinto beans and fresh salsa.
