DENVER—An infant has been found dead in a Denver home where firefighters detected carbon monoxide.

The cause of death hasn’t been determined. An autopsy is planned Tuesday.

Coroner’s officials identified the boy as 8-month-old Trino A. Miranda.

Firefighters found the child in a northeast Denver home Monday morning after a report of a fire. Firefighters say they found smoke and carbon monoxide but no flames.

Police spokesman Sonny Jackson says authorities found a wood stove or camp stove in the home.
