An unidentified man was injured Monday night in Denver when he was hit by a car that kept on going.

The hit-and-run happened at about 8 p.m. at the intersection of West 44th Avenue and Federal Boulevard, said police spokesman Detective John White.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment of head injuries, White said.

White did not have further details on the man’s condition.

Police are looking for the driver of a small gray car that left the scene after hitting the victim, White said.
