BENNETT, COLO. — Three homes have been evacuated south of Bennett as fire crews try to contain a 22-acre wildfire amid strong winds.
Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson says the homes were evacuated as a precaution.
Firefighters from five volunteer departments and heavy equipment have been sent to the scene about 20 miles east of Denver.
