DENVER—The Colorado Avalanche placed forward Brad Richardson on injured reserve on Thursday and recalled forward David Jones from the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL.
Richardson has a shoulder injury but no details were released.
Jones was Lake Erie’s third-leading scorer with seven goals and eight assists in 27 games. He was Colorado’s eight pick and 288th overall in 2003.
