United Airlines mechanics will soon vote on what union should represent them, according to a posting on the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association website Thursday.
The Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association represents the mechanics, and the Teamsters filed for an election in a bid to take over representation.
