DENVER—Denver police have arrested the father of a 10-year-old girl who was shot in the head and killed in a November shootout at her home.
Leo Cisneros, 29, is being investigated for child abuse resulting in the death of his daughter, Auralia Cisneros.
Trivi Trujillo, Joshua Rojas and Juvencio Hernandez all face felony murder charges and are being held without bail in Auralia’s death during what police believe was a drug- or gang-related shooting. The records in their cases have been sealed.
Auralia’s parents sparked increased outrage over her death when postings on their internet Web pages showed them praising gang life.
