LOVELAND, Colo.—In Loveland, volunteers began stamping cards Friday, an annual tradition for the city that claims to be the Valentine’s capital of the world.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald said volunteers radiated like a bowl of candy conversation hearts.

The volunteers, who met at the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, dressed in the spirit in pink and red clothing.

In recent years, the 58–year-old re-mailing program handled more than 200,000 cards from around the world.
