WILLINGEN, Germany—Norway won the team ski jump at a World Cup event Saturday, followed by Finland and Austria.
Norway got 140-meter leaps from three of its four team members, with only Anders Bardal missing that mark. It took the lead after the first round of jumps when Austria was eighth.
Norway’s other jumpers were Bjorn Einar Romoren, Tom Hilde and Anders Jacobsen. It finished with 1,052.4 points, while Finland had 1,035.4 and Austria 999.4.
Austria has a big lead in the Nations Cup team standings, with 5,136 points to Norway’s 3,590. The Austrians also have Thomas Morgenstern, the top jumper this season.
