A man already serving a 60-year prison sentence for killing his wife pled not guilty Tuesday in the slashing death of a popular Littleton store keeper.
Gregory Parker allegedly killed Rhonda Holland on Jan. 17, 2004, in the Season’s Givings Gift Shoppe.
The Arapahoe County district attorney has charged Parker with first-degree murder, first-degree murder after deliberation, felony murder and aggravated robbery.
Parker and Holland were “acquaintances,” according to authorities.
Police had said previously that they believed Holland was killed by someone who knew her, someone who staked out her shop and knew the right time to strike.
Parker had become a suspect within a few months after Holland’s murder.
Parker was convicted on Jan. 18, 2005, of second-degree homicide and second-degree assault in the murder of his wife, Barbara, who was slashed to death on Valentine’s Day 2004.
