A 25-year-old woman was taken by helicopter to a local hospital after an early morning crash with a train in Weld County, officials say.
Authorities believe the woman was intoxicated when a truck struck her Dodge sedan at 1:49 a.m. at a crossing near the intersection of Highways 85 and 392 in Lucerne, said Ryan Sullivan, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.
The extent of the woman’s injuries were not immediately known, Sullivan said.
