Denver police have located the mother of the dead infant found outside Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center on Tuesday night.
Police would not identify her but said she is cooperating with the homicide investigation and has not been arrested.
The department would not release more about the mother or the circumstances in which she was found. Instead, they said more information would be provided later.
The baby was identified only as being female and either white or Hispanic.
A security guard found the baby outside the hospital at a help call box at Franklin Street and East 20th Avenue.
Police had asked for the public’s help in finding the parents.
